I had a simple vision: take the knowledge and expertise I had built up learning from my father and offer premium, honest, and affordable auto repair services to the local area. Setting up shop in Cohoes felt natural, having been born and raised just a few towns away. After starting with the basic repair services all shops should offer, we began expanding to alignments, NYS inspections, and more detailed services. We continue growing in both skill and knowledge of our craft, and want nothing more than to share that with our local community. Stephen Hepp, Owner & Auto Mechanic
Stephen opened up this shop in 2003. He learned to love the auto-mechanic lifestyle from a young age. His father owned his own repair shop and taught Stephen the ropes. Steve loves Milk Duds candy, hunting & fishing, and archery. One thing he has always enjoyed is a well maintained yard. He leads this shop with integrity and character, and loves what he does.
Steve graduated from La Salle Institute and continued his education at HVCC, attaining his Associates Degree in Automotive Repair. He completed tech programs through General Motors, Ford and Honda in 2018, and is AC trained and certified.

These guys have been great! They're honest and upfront about how long it takes them to do the job and their estimates are usually dead on the money. They really don't play games on the cost the repair will take. The guy behind the counter is friendly and accommodating and will go out of his way to communicate between you and the mechanic and the mechanics and cool too! They'll take the time to go over the repairs with you. They put everything in laymen's terms very well. They've always gotten around to fix my car in a reasonable amount of time too. Usually within 1-2 days most of the time.

This is the only place to bring your car, regardless of where you live in upstate NY. The owner took the time to actually show me what was wrong with my vehicle and to educate me on the cause of such a problem. It was amazing. The staff is so kind, and I have never seen them without a full lot. Everyone person I talk to who has been here says they are fantastic, and agree with me when I say that I will never take my car any place else. It's the only garage I have ever been to that has treated me with constant respect and I always leave happy and with money in my pocket.
